经过漫长的等待，squid终于要发布2.6的版本了。回看一下，squid-2.5从2002年到2006年，已经出到STABLE14，时间之长实在令人惊讶。

现在，squid开发组终于达成了一致意见，将2.x版本中改善的地方综合成为2.6版本。

其中kqueue应该暂时完成不了了。我比较关心的是COSS，最近使用新版本squid的COSS经常出现错误，所以干脆协助adrian协助测试COSS的代码。

但是今天在FreeBSD下面测，发现COSS已经能够进行rebuild了，不过我在测试时还是会出现致命错误，sometimes rebuild会失败，直接导致squid fail。我已经将core发给adrian，希望他赶得及在2.6发布前改好吧。
